GREEK COLLECTIONS!

My creations are often featured in lovely Treasury collections by my Etsy mates, and in February and March I've been included in a few great collections inspired by my beloved Greece! I'm so honored to be featured as representing Greece-inspired art, and when I'm included in all-Greek collections displaying Greek talent the honor is double!!!

A Sweet Gift from a Sweet Friend!

ZOE and I got a lovely, sweet surprise today! My lovely friend Marietta of Blue Room Pottery and Blue Room Bijoux dedicated a wonderful Treasury to my beloved kitty girl!!! We are both so happy and really touched by such a sweet gift!!! And Zoe sure loves being among many of my lovely Greek friends!
We both say : thank you so much, dear Marietta!!! You really made our day! Σ'ευχαριστούμε πολύύύύύ!!!!!

NEW YEAR WITH MY FRIENDS!

I joined Etsy on January 1st, 2010. That same day I opened my shop. Boy was I excited! My work would be seen from allover the world! What I didn't realize back then was that I wasn't just opening an e-shop -- I was joining the most wonderful, amazing artist community. It's been a wonderful year that has changed my life and perception of art. I've met lots of wonderful persons, incredibly talented artists and some really wonderful friends. We have given each other "hearts", we've supported each other, we've shared ideas, we've given each other precious advice, we've grown together... and most important of all, we've given each other the gift of Friendship.

I would like to thank you, my dear friends, for being part of my 2010, for your wonderful support, for your friendship and for being the sweet persons you are! My first year on Etsy has been a great one thanks to you. You have enriched me and I have learnt a lot from each and every one of YOU. Thank you for sharing my world, my love for animals, for loving my Zoe and for your endless patience with this Island-crazy girl :)!

Color Palette: RED

Have you ever noticed that your color palette may change according to different phases of your life? My absolute favorite color used to be BLUE... most of the jewelry I wore and created was in shades of blue. I still love blue a LOT, and it's still one of my absolute favorite colors, but recently ORANGE has made a definite entry into my life. I wear lots of accessories in orange, and this color has an important place in my creations! But now I have noticed - to my greatest surprise - that I have started wearing RED quite a lot too! I especially love warm, vibrant shades of red with orange hues. It gives such an energy boost in the winter! It's great with black... and I guess the vibrant hot color phase in my life reflects a new energy!
What are your favorite colors for accessories and jewelry?

I have just discovered a great new tool by Etsy: finally it's possible to find out in which and whose Treasuries you are featured in!!! Not everybody is convoing the artists whose work is included in their Treasuries, so this is truly a great new tool :)! If you hadn't discovered it yet, you just need to paste this into your browser and add your shop's name!
