My new clay and ceramic creations... now sanded and varnished. They will be rings!

PLAYING WITH CLAY AGAIN!

I have been playing with clay again... and have combined air-dry clay with tiny and colorful Greek ceramic beads.

FROM THE ISLANDS...

The new polymer clay pieces are baked and varnished so as to add some shimmer to the colorful little spheres. 

The polymer clay pieces with inlaid Greek ceramic beads are ready too. I have made some similar disks with air dry clay.

Look closely to see the different textures... The clay pieces are already sanded, then they will get varnished.

SUMMER BLUES... A NECKLACE

A simple, minimal necklace... Handmade ceramic beads (or Egyptian paste -- not sure, these beads are vintage finds) and cord, closed with a wooden bead.

I gave new life to an old bracelet... I love the contrast of the handmade ceramic beads with the shiny glass beads, it's a very summery bracelet, with the colors of deep blue skies and sea!
