REFRESHING WOODS
We are in the middle of a heatwave which is going to reach its peak between Sunday and Tuesday... Sweltering days, during which the green woods offer refreshing shade and a welcome breeze!
It looks so peaceful there. I love how the light comes through the green leaves, and the ivy growing on the ground is so beautiful. Wonderful photos :)

Dearest Anna, You can go to the woods but here with temperatures of Real Feel above 40°C it is too humid and therefore too many mosquitoes in the woods... We have probably the moistest and wettest (rain and thunderstorms) summer ever. Last night we had the worst thunderstorm and our romantic little creek went about 3 m out of its normal width. Bridges under or in the water... It is tough as we cannot even walk in the garden, let alone work. Hugs, Mariette

Dear Mariette! It indeed sounds VERY hot there, and the humidity factor is of course making things worse! It is quite humid here too at the moment, but probably not that bad... Hugs!
