So... this seems to be a highly inspired time for me! This is the new piece I created with the ever-so-inspiring wooden beads from Jana! It's going to be a ring.
I enlarged the off-center hole of the disk, so the glass bead would fit perfectly. Then I decorated the piece with copper and gold dimensional paints. I love the reflections of the vibrant red-orange glass and the oriental look of the piece! It reminds me of oriental markets... magical oriental nights... Marrakesh... spices and souks...

you're right - I think I can smell the flavours of the Orient from here! It is lovely in its rich, mysterious colours, like earing caramel roasted nuts on a warm evening, watching the sunset. ;)
